I am 38 years old and have been creating art with aerosol paint on found objects for over twenty-two years, often painting on pieces of wood or scrap metal discovered in alleyways. In a fast-paced world, this kind of work can be seen as risky or misunderstood, but for me it became a way to express myself freely and honestly.

A few years into my journey, my faith in Jesus Christ transformed both my life and my art, helping me channel my passion into a professional path and guiding my work toward more life-giving expression. Over time, I developed a deep respect for painting the elderly, honoring their wisdom, experiences, and the value of age.

As I took on more challenging commissions, I learned that growth comes from pushing beyond comfort and embracing uncertainty. While this brought valuable experience, it also reminded me of the importance of staying true to my own creative voice.

Influenced by my grandmother and brothers, and inspired by travels to California during my teenage years, I was deeply shaped by the graffiti movement — a world of anonymous beauty, bold expression, and cultural energy. That influence continues today through stencil work created from photographic images, bringing stories to life through layered imagery and street-inspired technique.
