ART DROP Galveston
An Art Drop is a free, peer-to-peer art exchange held during ART Week Galveston throughout the Cultural Arts District (19th–27th Street, Broadway to the bay). Community members create small pieces of art and “drop” them in public spaces for others to discover and keep. This simple act of giving connects people across the island, building bonds between strangers through creativity, generosity, and shared artistic expression.
Perspective Intérieure Art Contest
The Perspective Intérieure Art Contest invites artists to capture the beauty, character, and stories of Galveston’s historic interiors. During Art Week, artists receive exclusive access to architecturally and culturally significant locations to create original works. These pieces are exhibited at MARMO Plaza during Art Walk, where the community can view and purchase them. Winners are announced at 7:30 PM.

A Celebration of Flavor
The Art of West Bev Craft Cocktails
& Loft Party
Arts Downtown welcome the award-winning West Bev Team to Galveston Island for a one-night-only craft cocktail experience at the stunning Hendley Market Lofts during ART Week Galveston!
Join Michelin-recognized barman Christopher Longoria for a demonstration of inspired cocktails featuring Barr Hill Spirits, followed by a West Bev Loft & Balcony Party serving featured cocktails, light bites, and island vibes.
$75 per guest

Art Walk
No Art Week would be complete without the vibrant energy of ArtWalk Galveston. From 6–9 PM, the Cultural Arts District comes alive as galleries, studios, local businesses, and public spaces open their doors to showcase the incredible creativity thriving on the island. Stroll through historic streets, meet artists, explore new works, and experience the heartbeat of Galveston’s arts community.
